ABOUT ME
I have been making models and painting figures for over 35 years, starting with Matchbox vehicles and aircraft, dabbling with 1/35th scale figures and finally settling with my favoured scales of 1/72nd and 1/56th. My specialty is constructing and painting WW II vehicles, figures, dioramas and accessories, as well as Napoleonic models.
A little bit about me: I lived and worked as a language teacher, university professor and finally a language instructor for the Korean Military in South Korea for over 20 years whilst making and painting models as a hobby. After leaving South Korea in 2020, I decided to hang up my teaching boots and concentrate on my passion for model making. I have been selling my models online in New Zealand, my home country; however, the creation of this website by my very talented wife will help me to reach out to the international market.
I accept commissions for making and/or painting of military vehicles and figures, as well as construction of dioramas and accessories. I am very open to client's precise specifications and requests and I am a firm believer in effective and frequent communication with the client, including progress reports on the models/figures, including photographs.
As any model maker knows, the creation of a beautiful piece is a time consuming process, so if your work life schedule is not allowing you to fulfil your goals of creating your own collection, let me assist you.
Please take a look at my gallery where you can view samples of my work which includes WW II, WW I, Napoleonic models and figures, dioramas and accessories, as well as my military art. Some items have been sold to private collectors; however, all of them can be replicated or built to a client's precise requirements. If you like what you see, please contact me, so we can discuss your precise needs in detail.
Thank you.
